Over
600 golfers tee it up for a 3 day 54 hole fun golf tournament.
You don't need a handicap to enter. Scoring is stroke play and
is divided into 10 flights.
The top 10 golfers of each flight, as determined by count back,
if necessary, are awarded prizes and the prizes are the same for
each flight. So what the 1st flight winner gets is the same prize
as the 10th flight winner. Last year's and this year's prize budget
is $20,000. So, the prizes are pretty good.
We use 4 golf courses. Two 9-hole golf courses in the USA and two
18-hole golf courses in Canada. On each day you will play 18 holes.
When you play the US courses, you play 9 holes at one of the courses
then 4 hours later you play the other 9-hole golf course. Plenty
of time to grab a bit and do some socializing. On each of the other
2 days you play 1 of the 18 hole courses each day.
On Saturday evening there is a steak barbeque at the Morden course,
which is included in your entry fee.
In 2009, the 39th International Golf Tournament will be played
on July 24,25,26.
Enter as a single golfer or enter as a foursome. Entries will be
accepted from June 9th to July 3rd.
The cost is $100.00 CDN and $80.00 USD for each golfer. Click Registration
to get a copy of the Entry Form.
REMEMBER: Make
sure you have approved ID
for crossing the border
